Potassium

  • Potassium plays an undeniably important role in crops. Potassium also plays a role in regulating the opening and closing of stomata. It is a significant osmotic and an important factor in the formation of sugars.
  • The potassium contained in element® fertilisers helps to cover the needs of plants at critical developmental stages when the K uptake is lower than the K needed.

Most sensitive are:

  • fruit trees,
  • vegetables,
  • potatoes,
  • cereals,
  • sugar beet.

The following exhibit moderate sensitivity:

  • oilseeds,
  • legumes.
